At Winton Homes, we provide a fully custom experience. Clients can come to us with a brand-new floor plan and design ideas, and we will turn those ideas into reality.
The process begins when you reach out to discuss what you are looking for in a home. We then find land that best suits your needs and the scope of your project. During this time, our engineers and designers will meet with you to fully discuss your vision. The details are then ironed out, and an official construction plan is created.
Once we have a construction plan, another meeting is scheduled to discuss the plan in detail. If you want to add more changes or additions to the design, our designers can adjust the plan for a small fee. When everyone is satisfied with the plan, a contract is drafted, and construction begins!
The Energy Star logo shows a company’s commitment to providing customers with a product built to incorporate water management, energy efficiency, and a certified HVAC system. For a custom home builder, being energy star certified means the home has been designed, built, and tested to achieve energy savings of 15% to 20% above code. In New Mexico, the building code requires a Home Energy Rating System (HERS) Index rating of 83 or lower; Winton building homes with a HERS rating of 60!
A new home with an Energy Star logo has undergone a process of inspections, testing, and verification to meet strict requirements set by the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Department of Energy. Energy Star-certified homes use 15 to 30% less energy than typical new homes while also delivering better comfort, quality, and durability.
